Join Orogenesis and the Hoodland Trails Collective as we restore a section of the PCT that was abandoned in the 1960s deep in an untraveled corner of the Mt Hood National Forest. Once restored, this zone will feature two 2,500’ descents and a twelve mile ridge ride in an unburnt island of the Clackamas headwaters, 1.5 hours drive from Portland, OR.
Sunday shuttles provided by Oregon Territory Outfitters.
Come for one day or campout and do both. We need volunteers of all sorts: sawyers primarily, but also swampers, brushers, and dirt worshipers. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED—we can find a valuable role for you. Drop us a line if you have any questions.
This Stewardship Campout is a joint effort with the Hoodland Trails Collective.
