Join Orogenesis, Salem Area Trail Alliance (SATA), Central Oregon Trail Alliance (COTA), Cascade Volunteers, and Resilient Headwaters, building a new trail in Oregon’s Old Cascade Crest connecting two pristine mountain lakes to the Orogenesis route. This event will focus on logging out the new trail corridor, chainsaw sawyers and swampers (nature’s crossfit!) especially needed. There will be several more volunteer opportunities throughout the 2025 season to work on this trail.

Come for one day or campout and do both. We need volunteers of all sorts: sawyers primarily, but also swampers, brushers, and dirt worshipers. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED—we can find a valuable role for you. Drop us a line if you have any questions.
