Klickitat Sisters Stewardship Campout 2024

We’re returning to finish the job. Last summer we gathered around Jackpot Lake, traversed rugged ridges, and re-opened about half of the Klickitat Sisters Trail. This trail is an ancient indigenous trade route through the high country, connecting the first peoples of the Cowlitz and Klickitat tribes. Today it lies infrequently used and even less frequently maintained.

We need volunteers of all sorts: sawyers primarily, but also swampers, brushers, and dirt worshipers. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED—we can find a valuable role for you. Drop us a line if you have any questions.

This Stewardship Campout is a joint effort with the Upper Cowlitz Valley Trails Coalition and Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance.
