Join Orogenesis and Oakridge Trails Alliance (OTA) as we continue the new trail build high in the alpine connecting the infamous Bunchgrass Ridge Trail to the Fuji Mountain Trail. This section of the Oregon Timber Trail has been impassible since the 2022 Cedar Creek Fire and requires a lengthy and dangerous highway detour. Let’s get Oakridge’s hardest test piece back online this season!

This event will focus on establishing the trail tread, benching, and rock work. No previous experience or tools required and onsite training is provided.

Come for one day or campout and do both. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED—we can find a valuable role for you. Drop us a line if you have any questions. 

This new trail build is a joint effort with Sisters Trail Alliance (STA), Central Oregon Trail Alliance (COTA), Cascade Volunteers, and Resilient Headwaters.
