Rhozone Ruminations 2026 with Hoodland Trails Collective

Join Orogenesis and the Hoodland Trails Collective as we return to one of Oregon’s newest mountain biking areas and oldest sections of the PCT. Help us restore this scenic and primitive trail deep in an untraveled corner of the Mt Hood National Forest.

Last year we got two big 2,500’ descents descents open, this year we’re focused on logging out the remaining 7 miles of Rhododendron Ridge and brushing and dirt work from a hard winter.

Once restored, this zone will feature a variety of shuttle options, cross country rides, and bikepacking loops in an unburnt island of the Clackamas headwaters, 1.5 hours drive from Portland, OR. Be a part of this historic community effort to save these trails from fading away for eternity.

Sunday shuttles provided by Oregon Territory Outfitters.

Come for one day or campout and do both. We need volunteers of all sorts: sawyers primarily, but also swampers, brushers, and dirt worshipers. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED—we can find a valuable role for you. Drop us a line if you have any questions.

This Stewardship Campout is a joint effort with the Hoodland Trails Collective.
