Join Orogenesis and Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance as we sample the fruits of our labor restoring the Klickitat Sisters Trail over the past three years.
DAY ONE: 25 miles (7mi trail), +6,000’
This intermediate to advanced group ride starts and ends in Packwood, WA and climbs following the Loowit Tier on gravel roads before transitioning to the Klickitat Sisters Trail and our campsite on the banks of St John Lake high on the ridgeline. We will be dispersed camping without potable water, bathrooms, or cell service. Be prepared to be self sufficient: filter your water, bury your poop, prepare your own meals, and fix mechanical issues. This is a no-drop ride but we have a lot of climbing on day one so be sure you can cover the distance.
DAY TWO: 21 miles (5mi trail), +900’
Our second day is much easier as we return to Packwood along the rest of the Klickitat Sisters Trail and gravel roads, descending back into the valley for a party at Longmire Springs Brewing on Sunday evening.
Drop us a line if you have any questions. This overnighter is a joint effort with the Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance.
